Congratulations Sunny Style!

After weeks of hard fought battles, the finals were upon the 6FUSE Summer Heat volleyball summer league. The stage was set for an epic battle between teams Sunny Style and the Blitz Gear Stingers--the top two teams during the regular season.

With a tight 1 point spread early in the first set, a member of the Blitz Gear Stingers took a hard-driven spike to the head requiring emergency medical attention. Rather than continue to play on despite still having enough players to field a team, the Blitz Gear Stingers, in a show of unselfishness, solidarity and support for their injured team member, decided to forfeit the game.
